At SUWS of the Carolinas, students work with experienced staff members in a supportive environment free from the stresses and distractions of everyday life. Since 1999, we have helped students who struggle with anger, defiance, ADHD, self-esteem, substance abuse, and related issues. Our Philosophy

Our outdoor experience is designed to engage students’ deeply held passions and desire for purpose. Students are expertly guided through an experiential curriculum, which allows them to discover inner strengths while increasing self-awareness & self-esteem. We use a “search and rescue” metaphor to teach students character development and to assist in the identification of core values and guiding principles. Read more
